The Frances Berman Memorial Scholarship
Established by IGB Group co-founders Leon Berman and Dawn Paglia Berman in honor of Leon’s mother, the Frances Berman Memorial Scholarship celebrates the life and legacy of Frances Berman. Frances was a woman whose courage, optimism, and compassion inspired all who knew her. Frances was born in Marseilles France during WWII and she and her mother found refuge in a convent in Rome. The family was reunited after the war and emigrated to the U.S., where Frances raised her family and built a plumbing contractor business with her husband of 57 years. The fund provides annual scholarship award to two full-time students at the Feliciano School of Business at Montclair State University.
