As many of you who have worked with IGB Group in the last 13 years will know well, Bryan Degnan is a key part of the IGB team and a proven leader across our investor relations, strategic communications, and special situations practices.

David has 30 years of capital markets and corporate finance experience, having built a career as an investment banker, capital markets advisor and chief financial officer for both private and public companies. David was Group Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, Corporate Development of Persis Holdings Ltd., a private investment company based in Vancouver, Canada. David also served as Chief Financial Officer of Seaspan Corporation, the world’s largest containership lessor. David spent the majority of his career at Citigroup as an investment banker, holding numerous positions, including Managing Director in the Investment Banking and US Equity Capital Markets Groups, Canadian Head of Global Capital Structuring and Chief Operating Officer of Citigroup Global Markets Canada. David serves on the board of directors of Höegh LNG Partners LP.
John has over 35 years of leadership, corporate finance, business development and capital markets experience. John spent over 25 years with Triton International Limited, the world’s largest lessor of intermodal containers, taking on increasing leadership roles including the last 13 years as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. As a public company CFO, John has a proven track record of delivering value and growth through developing strong relationships in the capital markets, executing strategic equity and debt raises, formulating and implementing accretive capital allocation strategies as well as spearheading business development, mergers, strategic financial management, and investor relations initiatives. Throughout his tenure at Triton, John played an integral role in the company’s growth, highlighted by the completion of its transformational merger in 2016 and subsequent accelerated growth in earnings, market cap and industry leadership. Prior to joining Triton, John spent 10 years with Ernst & Young focused on specialty finance clients.
Stephen has over 35 years of leadership, financial and operational experience, mostly working with private equity firms to drive significant change in their portfolio companies. During his career, he has led a number of companies as CFO and COO, including NetJets, (owned by Warren Buffet and Berkshire Hathaway), Algeco Scotsman (the parent company of NYSE-listed WillScot), and SeaCube Containers (formerly listed on the NYSE and sold to a private buyer). Stephen is on the Board of PlaneSense Holdings Inc. (“PS”). PS is based in Portsmouth, NH and has 70+ aircraft. They are the third largest provider of fractional aircraft ownership. PS has grown steadily and has the world’s largest fleet of Pilatus PC-12s and PC-24 jets. He also is the founder of Worth Brothers (WB), an advisory business that works with private equity firms to drive significant change in their portfolio companies. Stephen’s most recent WB project was as CFO at Internova Group (previously Travel Leaders) as they considered their strategic options.
Charlotte is an experienced strategic advisor with a decade of experience in financial communications, working with clients across Fortune 200 and mid-cap sectors. She provides counsel and communications support to companies involved in a broad range of special situations and high-profile corporate events, including mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism defense and crisis management – helping them navigate critical moments with clarity and confidence. Charlotte also advises clients on enhancing their overall communications strategy and crafting compelling investment narratives to strengthen market perception and build stakeholder trust. This includes corporate positioning, quarterly earnings, investor days, and profile raising through strategic media engagement and thought leadership opportunities.
Prior to joining IGB Group in 2025, Charlotte served as a Director at Joele Frank. Her experience included guiding clients through complex M&A transactions, including Berry Global’s $8.4 billion sale to Amcor, Vista Outdoor’s $3.35 billion contested separation of The Kinetic Group & Revelyst and Endeavor Energy’s $26 billion merger with Diamond Back Energy. She also defended clients in prominent proxy contests, including Texas Instruments vs. Elliott Management, Crown Castle vs. Elliott Management and Co-founder Ted Miller, Colgate vs. Third Point and P&G vs. Trian Partners. Charlotte holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Lehigh University.
Matt leads public relations and investor relations activities for public companies across a wide range of industries. He also serves as IGB’s head of digital communications, with a focus on connecting clients with their key audiences through the implementation of digital, social media, and design services. Matt works closely with clients to help them develop effective narrative and communications plans, so that the right message reaches and resonates with the right audience.
Matt is engaged in the full scope of executing corporate communications strategy, including media relations and PR campaigns, quarterly earnings preparation, investor events, corporate positioning, profile-raising, and thought leadership. Matt holds a B.A. in Metropolitan Studies and minors in Business and Political Science.
Bryan has extensive experience working with industrial, energy, emerging technology, and diversified companies, offering management teams and boards of directors strategic counsel, guidance on best disclosure practices and IR program execution, and training on message delivery, Q&A situations, crisis management, and media/public speaking. Bryan leads and executes full-service investor relations and public relations programs for companies seeking to access capital markets and to identify sources of institutional investment capital beyond those already active in a given peer group.
Prior to joining IGB Group in 2013, Bryan oversaw an investor relations client portfolio ranging from European large caps to Asian small caps at Taylor Rafferty/King Worldwide, one of the largest global investor relations firms at the time. In that capacity, Bryan guided multiple clients through the IPO process and served as US lead on the firm’s Asian operations. Additionally, in conjunction with proxy advisory DF King, Bryan executed the investor relations components of high-profile M&A campaigns including Carl Icahn’s attempted takeover of Dell and Realty Income’s acquisition of American Realty Capital Trust. Bryan holds a B.A. in International Economics and Chinese Studies, as well as an M.A. focused on political/economic communications.
Leon co-founded IGB Group in 2001. Over the past 25 years, IGB Group has developed a strong reputation for providing leading companies with differentiated counsel and unparalleled service and execution. With over 30 years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications, and capital markets advisory, Leon leads investor relations and integrated communications programs for both public and private companies. Leon serves as a trusted advisor to executives and boards, providing strategic counsel on topics such as, investor thesis development, shareholder engagement, activist defense, crisis and M&A communications. Prior to founding IGB Group, Leon led the investor relations and financial communication practices at two mid-sized PR agencies.
Leon has broad capital markets experience. He worked for leading financial services companies, holding sales, trading and relationship management roles, including at The New York Stock Exchange,, CitiCorp and Dean Witter. Leon holds a BS in Economics and MBA in finance.
